Am I right in thinking you originally had a cross flow engine based Jago?
If so then as you have found out the radiator mount brackets are closer together than needed for the OHC radiator.
To save possibly boiling the engine it is best to cut the radiator mounting brackets off the chassis (on some you can just move the one) and re weld back in the correct place to allow the radiator for the 2 litre to fit.
That way you know the cooling system is the correct capacity for the engine.
