Oh dear time comes that my Jago is off the road and needs much atention
This is typical with a car like this unfortunatly ive lost the area where I used to work on the jago, does anybody know of a cheap place to store and work on my car in the havant/portsmouth area.
Also I need some advice. I need a complete new exhaust system, including manifold, im not sure if this is a job im capable of as I beleive welding etc is required. What exhaust parts would i need to order to get a new exhaust built? any rough ideas on cost would be great.
Currently the exhaust follows down the nearside and comes out by the tow bar.
Many thanks
Andy

Can not help regards the area to work on your Jago but regards the exhaust apart from a bespoked system you will need to know what the engine is from.
If it is Mk1 or Mk2 Escort (crossflow) then you will need the appropriate system from that vehicle.
If you have got an OHC fitted then is it from the Cortina, Capri, Sierra etc.
You are correct in that which ever exhaust system it is there is some modifying and welding required to shorten it and make it fit best.
When I purchased a Mk2 Escort system towards the end of last year it cost about £80 for the full system.
