Hi all, feeling well good rite now!! bought a geep hard top and doors last week off of ebay only paying £36 for them thinking it was going to be a serious basket case by the way it was discribed to me! just now back from collecting them and the top is in good knick really with only a crack in the rear window but not enough to worry about!! now for my question! on the doors i have no glass!! ive seen from pictures its suppose to have 2piece's of glass in each door that slide??? do i have to get some glass made to fit or is there somewhere i can buy the correct fit!? also what are the door handels/locks on the hard doors from??

Hi Mal,

Try and find local Cab Glass dealership.

They cut glass to what you want on site. I think side windows must be toughened not laminated, so you can get out if the doors won't open after a prang, which we hope never happens.

You will also need runners and seals, bit like original sliding window mini. Try Woolies, who are in Market Deeping near Peterborough, on 01778 347347. They do a vast range of trim bits etc.

BTW make sure that the gap between the fixed and moving glass is even, and you can fit some brush draught excluder which I think is known as 'firestop' to cut down the cold air getting in.

The door handles/locks are available from Europa Specialist Spares.
Yes the glass must be toughened on side windows and laminate on the windscreen.
