Cars owned by the Sultan of Brunei
Discussion
At one time he had 7 Maclaran F1's, and he 'loaned' them to his family, if he gets upset with the family member he withdraws the gift, Bruneins think this is normal, I was once told the Queent of England did the same, they did not believe me when I said no, some one like Prince Charles ownes his cars in his own right.
The car thing is just the tip of a huge iceberg of what happens with absolute power.

Why does he own that many 456's though?
Are they all serviced/maintained or just rotting away?

14 XJ220's!!!!!! The man is a legend.
I made it 16!Story from long ago, a friend used to work for one of these "chaps" as his UK Chauffeur.
He once went out to the desert to watch camel racing.
In the middle of the desert is the largest fork trucks he'd ever seen, moving brand new cars (all shrunk wrapped in plastic) from one pile to the next.
So he asks why?
Not allowed to gamble because of religion, so if my friends camel wins the race he takes a gift from my group of cars!! etc..etc..
Rolls Royce, Mercs you name it, it was there!
So the Sultan might just have some very fast camels!

So, does this make him the worlds No.1 petrol head. Or is this just shear opulence to the point of vulgarity?
I remember he came into Aberdeen years ago to collect an honorary degree from the uni. Wanted to arrive in his 747 but that was too heavy for the taxiways. Borrowed the wifes Airbus 340 instead!
