Touring cars for real men at Donington this weekend

The best from Germany at Donington. I only can recommend that you take a look at the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft) race. Don't be misslead by the word Tourenwagen, it's far off from a touring car championship and a lot more GT like. The cars have almost nothing in common with their relatives you see on the street and the drivers are international stars. Like the article stated there are two races. First is a sprint and then... ehhmmm... a longer sprint. The results of the sprint qualify for the grid positions for the 100 KM race. The races are very fast and exciting with lots of color and even parts exchange. Enjoy it, it's good fun to watch.

just got back from a wicked day at donnington, i saw about 300 people who had the tyres of the cars, they were giving away there old slick tyres! the race was brilliant, well done jean alesi, it was a shame though about fasler and winklehock big incident, the merc looked serverly smashed up in the pit garage, front left was missing! i hope the DTM is back next year,
