Bug Jam

Wipe off the encrusted flies from your bodywork

Holidaying in Scotland or mainland Europe? Then you may need the new product from Triple P when you return. Bug Gel is the new gunge that removes bugs, bird droppings and other residues from car exteriors and other surfaces.

Bug Gel comprises a specially designed enzyme Formula that attacks and breaks down acidic bug deposits by dissolving them. Bug Gel is safe to use on all surfaces including paint, rubber, glass, chrome and plastic. They reckon it's easy to use - just requiring a simple spray of gel to the affected area and then wipe off with a clean absorbent cloth.

Bug Gel has an SRP of £5.98 and is available from all various automotive accessory retailers.

Could do with some of this for the Golf where the wet t-shirt trick is hard to perform on the tight corners.

It seems a bit pricey though IMO. Id definitly buy it for half that price though just to save a bit of elbow grease.

I might give it a go as nothing else has removed the Le Mans super cooked fly blood.

On my griff I laid a wet tshirt on the bonnet, gave it a socking withthe hose and left it for 5 mins while cleaning the rest of the car. When I removed the tshirt the bugs came off too!

Cant to the same on my golf though since the design doesnt allow soaking the flies with a tshirt in all the nooks and crannies.
