Proton need some help "not" selling Lotus, so they have now retained KPMG to "not" sell Lotus to the Chinese:

That's just a Proton Gen2 which have been around for years. Youngman import them into china and resell them as a Europstar RCR's (Catchy name! wink )

Marc is right, and they have been 'officially' badged as lotus when they leave the factory for years, they carry a 'handling by lotus' badge, and people just prise the handling bit off.

As i keep saying the issue is that DBH Hicom, who now own lotus have an existing deal with VW so why do they need lotus.

what i can say is that Proton support the lotus name, spend a fortune on advertising it, and i've seen no let up on that spend since Dhb took over.
