Honda have just released the third generation of their iconic N series kei car.

The city car is powered by a small three-cylinder 660cc gasoline engine in naturally-aspirated and turbocharged versions connected to a CVT and either a front-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive setup.

For the new model, Honda has added a Premium trim level which is available with a choice of 16 colors or 5 combinations of two-tone color styles. Safety features include Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Pedestrian Injury Migration Body and side curtain airbags.

I happen to think it's great, definitely a case of Nice-One (groan), and a nicer package than their N Box cars. Of course most of you will think I've lost my mind and have been overrun with estrogen. I don't know, the thought of a Mugen'd turbo and remap with a zingy exhaust all powering those four tiny pram wheels sounds like fun, especially in the snow. It's a dumb looking puppy that wants to be played with.

I guess there's always the option of importing one if the VW UP!/Mii/CitiGo don't float your boat.

SWMBO was talking of changing her 6 year old Honda Jazz, (trouble-free apart from usual wear items), and has been looking at Citigo etc. I think she'd go for one of these little fellas as most of her 4k miles per year is city/urban. She likes odd looking things............living proof here !

With Mugen and the turbo-charging option, it's a yay.

It looks Nissan Cube slash Fiat Panda esque. I like the look of it, but I don't like the automatic transmission, and by the looks of it, it doesn't look like it could take a manual box frown

That is a proper ugly car, but I spose the only intended purpose it has is A to B round cities
