Huet Brothers introduced the HB Coupé (TVR & Wiesmann)
Discussion
Huet Brothers introduced the HB Coupé which is gona be very light and
could be a mix of TVR & Wiesmann
I like it...
what do you think.

a good part its low weight >>
A weight of under 1,800 pounds (815 kg), a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) under five seconds
if they can reach that goal.

the HB brand looks good too...a bit ala Bugg
Huet Brothers introduced the HB Coupé concept car this past January, and has refined the design into a production-ready model. Each rear-wheel-drive Coupé is built atop a carbon monocoque that weighs less than 220 pounds (100 kg), lending way to a total weight of around 1,764 pounds (800 kg) – even when factoring in modern conveniences like the heated seats, airbags and touchscreen-based audio system.
With a weight that looks more like that of half a car, Huet Brothers was able to shrink the size of its original six-cylinder engine down to a 170-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder, to increase fuel economy while still maintaining a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration of less than five seconds. A tuned 255-hp 2.0-liter option gets there in less than four seconds.
Huet Brothers is also working on a third Coupé, the track-specific Coupé RACE. That model will not be street legal and will include a full roll cage. Huet Brothers is still working out powertrain details, and told us it's considering a 300-hp engine with F1 gearbox.

Each model is offered with a six-speed manual transmission, independent double-wishbone front suspension, independent multi-link rear suspension, anti-lock braking system (ABS) and leather interior.
looks like they also use a own monocoque...cool.Each model is offered with a six-speed manual transmission, independent double-wishbone front suspension, independent multi-link rear suspension, anti-lock braking system (ABS) and leather interior.

I've been reading about these on other news websites for a while, I really like the look (reminds me a bit of the Maserati A6GCS)..
Hopefully a feature on here to come soon??
Indeed, looks a lot like that car.Hopefully a feature on here to come soon??
They have to fill their order book first I believe, but the specs, especially the weight etc with those looks is a welcome.
they have 11 already and 8 in the book overseas >>

In their newsletter today I saw that already 17 are signed for and 13 on the waiting list in the US and Canada...
it seems to be that their car is full carbon, so not only the full monocoque but also the carros etc...
at least I think when you read their pdf press release>>
http://www.huetbrothers.com//Uploaded_files/Zelf/H...
their is some confusion under their F.A.Q. list, they also talk about the drivetrain etc from a TR6 but that was/is from their first one of open car the HB special but that is not mentioned in that list.
so I send them a letter about that...could be confusing for people who have interest in their nice product/cars.
just when I wrote this I got a letter back from HB, thats fast...they gonna make it more clear on their website under the FAQ's so that their will be less confusion.

That looks fantastic, the styling is very good and I imagine it will be Porsche 924/944 practical with having a decent size hatch but also in this case the benefit of no rear seats.
Would it be fair to say that the HB is like a up market version of what the MEV Coupe (mx5 coupe conversion) as they also appeal to me A LOT.
