Hi,
I have a Rochdale GT, according to the Club only 100-150 or so still exist, however they made 1350 shells.

It is my thinking that there must be a lot more lying in driveways or sheds undiscovered by the club.

Does anyone know of any?

My car is the yellow one.

I know it is a long shot but it might be worth a post, just in case there is a hoard of them somewhere.

Thanks William

Saw a red one on a track day at Goodwood some years back.

The chap had fitted it with a 2.9 Ford V6.

I think he said there was a club but that because he'd modified his car he wasn't particularly welcome within it.

Hi,
Thanks for your posts. Do you by chance remember the Reg or have a photo of the car at you saw with the 2.9 Litre engine in it?
My car has been modified as it is on a Herald Chassis with a 1500 Triumph Engine and Roto Flex.

Rochdale Motor Panels as they are formally know have no conection with Ashley apart from the fact that they were both Special body suppliers.

Any more?

A friend of mine has one of these - well these days it's little more than just a glassfibre monocoque that sits on his drive in a rather sorry state. A few years ago we had a plan to rebuild it with a motorcycle engine, but ran out of enthusiasm after realising how much work was required...

Just noticed the is a picture of 902 DUF in standard from on the Front cover of the ROC mag from Spring 1993. It says it is one of the only cars in existance that was built in the 60's and is still owned by its constructor a Mr John Wests. It must of been sold and modified.

There's a bloke who runs a model shop in Chipping Ongar who's got one. Think it needs a restoration though.

Hi ,
Where is the car?
Is it a GT or Olympic?

I think it's an Olympic. Give his shop a ring, I'm sure he'd love talking to you about it.
