Ozzies Export to US
Holden Monaro to be rebadged as Pontiac GTO
Discussion
I have been reading quite a bit about this car in some of the US car magagzines. It looks to be a real screemer. It is based on the Omega platform, with a lot of tweeking.
I think the price is supposed to be around 35 - 40K (dollars)
I am worried about having to sell my Chimaera one day when I have to move back to the USA, but I think I could be happy with one of those....
As for Mr "septic" who doesn't like Pontiac... he probably drives a Ford Fiesta. One of the meanest muscle cars from the 60s was the original 64 GTO.

My first post and I dunno if I'll recheck this thread, but as a yank i must confess to being somewhat nationallistc and preferring that we use a car by Pontiac. but truth is that i'm not a gto fan, i like the Firebird, so no gto is no big deal to me.
Ni**ger is not general slang for african americans.
gto is one of our icons, and while there may be similarities between us and australia, it doesn't feel right.
