Just walking past after picking up my lunch, they're about to hoist it into the 'display' area!

apologies for the rubbish pics - camera phone and I was trying to hold a pizza box flat with the other hand!

Seized from where any why? And on display where and why?

You post poses more questions than it answers...

The display area is on Victoria Street, just out side the Met's chief copshop at New Scotland Yard. They use it to display ill gotten gains seized off criminals, and from those driving without insurance. Might toddle along tomoz. smile

Picking it up via the wheel spokes. Different.

So what happens if it gets damage while in their custody and on display? Is it inside or outside?

Judging by the paint job it's been seized by the taste police.

Sorry, I'm sure others love it....

Saw this car belting around Knightsbridge last week when I was down in London. On Arab plates, driven by two Arab youths going too fast.
I am not surprised this ended up getting grabbed, it was waiting to happen.
The paint job really spoiled a nice car, nae taste!!

It's been back on the road for a whole. Another PHer posted pics a week or so ago.

Wowzer! Amazing car, shame it was seized.

But, I don't think the rear spoiler would help IMHO.

"shame it was seized". Wow! I'd love to know which sleazebag had bought it with someone else's money.

Damage to the car when they hoist it does not matter since they will never get it back. Usual protocol would be to destroy the car but in this car they thankfully make a exception.
