New MX5?

Hi,

I was just reading about the new MX5 Turbo in the news section. This appears to be the MX5's swansong, so any ideas of what we can expect from the replacement, any clues from Mazda?? and when can we expect it??

The new MX-5 will be noticeably bigger, will use RX-8 underpinnings, have a new range of more powerful engines, and a folding metal roof a few years down the line.

Sounds interesting, I will probably be in the market for a roadster sometime in the next year or two, that's why I was interested in the new MX5 as I can't quite afford a Boxster or S2000 !! I don't like the look of the one in the picture above so I hope it goes through a few more design revisions first.

Now that's more like it. Lots of RX8 styling going on there but very nice...let's hope they manage to keep the price reasonable...
