Motor Show

Hi

I'm a very big TVR fan aswell as lotus etc. and wondered if anyone knew when the car show at the NEC in Birmingham is this year?

It was called MPH'04 I think last year.
Is this the main motor show? Or are there others? And when are they all?

Don't want to miss it this year, the Sagaris was there at MPH'04 according to everyone else who went. I'd hate to miss out again..

MPH04 was the show at Earls Court. The main Motor Show was at the NEC.

I expect there will be another MPH show this year, no doubt at Earls Court again. www.mphshow.co.uk

The main Motor Show is due in 2006 and it was announced last week that it will be at London's Docklands.

Ted, whilst we are on the subject, do you know why some of the press (Autocar are saying this will be the first time the Motor Show has been in London for over 30 years? What about the Earles Court shows which alternated with the NEC in the mid-90's? Rich...

The Earls Court show was actually called the Motor Fair (sp?)......although it's a bit pedantic if this is what Autocar mean

Earl's Court was the original venue of the Motor Shiow until it moved to the NEC. Only then did the event at Earl's ourt become Motorfair and I believe it differed in being dealer stands where you could actually buy a car.

There used to be many of these types of local motor fair in the 70's. Shame they gave them up.
