Got £180,000 free and don't think the Hummer H2 is manly enough?
Why not try the T98 Kombat for size.....

www.t98.ru/

Unfortunately the website link to English doesn't seem to work so hopefully you all understand Russian.

Basic facts are:
Weight - depends on the amount of armour plating you specify can weigh up to 4,250kg and have 70mm thick windows, but will still hit 110mph.
It is designed to survive a direct hit from an anti-tank round........

Just right for popping down to the shops

I reckon it's got the right blend of machismo while still retaining decent looks. Unlike a Hummer which looks like it was designed by a 3yr old.

That Russian thing does scream military. I bet it requires a real man to drive it too. Or does it have A/C, PAS, comfy leather seats, etc?

I bet the H2 isn't really manly at all... all modern luxury items fitted for your 21st Century Wannabe Gangsta School Run Mum

Hummers only look hard-core. I found this photo on the web that shows they crumple like the rest of them.

If my 6 numbers come in this weekend, I'm going to send them a Bowler Wildcat to modify.

That's called "crumplezones" for a reason, they are suppossed to collapse to absorb impact like all modern cars...note the cab held up. That said....I believe it looks better after the wreck!!

You are obviously as popular over there as you are in England then

BTW When are you going to grace us with your presence again? Is the beast in Spain yet or is it still at Mr. Jeal's?

that's because it is based on the same chassis as the thing it hit, or one close to it.

Imagine if you'd been in a '82 reg Festa instead?

The russian thing looks fab!

isn't the H2 based on some luxury american MPV or something? ie it's just a shell over it. something was mentioned on top gear once but i can't remember as it wasn't a car I know that well.

You can get it with climate control, auto transmission and leather; it IS for the school run.

It is probably used for that in the middle east.

You'll cut yourself if you get any sharper, I dunno. "Dog born in a stable" and all that, causing revolting natives... I saw ya.

Soon I hope, gonna take up Jan's offer of a ride. If time permits. I do owe myself some serious vacation time.

Nah, still at Geoff's. Spain is just getting finalised over the next couple or 3 weeks.

I think it is actually the Chevy Suburban not the Tahoe.

Elements? It looks like a complete rip off of the LM002. The Russians are notorious for it, ever seen the Boran (Russian space shuttle) look like anyone elses?
