Yorkshire motorists too polite: official
Chaos caused by letting cars in from side roads
According to Auto Express, motorists in Harrogate, N Yorks, are causing traffic chaos by being too polite. They let too many cars in from side roads on the Skipton Road, the town's busiest road. The consequences are that it adversely affects traffic flow, according to a town spokesman.
Maybe they need lessons from owners of a certain marque...

Yup, I live on that road. Traffic is a pain. Apparently the Council commisioned some Consultants to sort the problem out. They came back with a plan, (and a huge bill). The Council looked at it and deemed it a pile of crap! Back to square one!

It's down to pure volume of traffic and lights every ten feet.
Supprised they don't just pedestrianise it
Would solve the car issue. Congestion charge maybe or even better loads of Speed camera's. That'll sort it
Can't really think of how to avoid the road, it's not like there's a BYPASS!!!!!
I'll send em my consultants bill eh!
