i live about 1 mile from junction 15, i imagine u have heard about the crash, junction 15-16 is closed and the traffic is getting off at 15, stoke-on-trent is seriously gridlocked, it took my parents 2 hours to get home from work! (work is about 2 miles away) its really bad, what happend was a lorry had a tyre blow out, plough through the central reservation hitting 4 oncoming cars and another lorry, 4 people died, tragic

A similar thing happend to a colleague a few years ago. He now has fixed elbow joint which was lucky, he could have lost an arm. It is high time the heavies were consigned to rail travel as part of an "integrated" transport system.
