Without meaning to sound like a nerd, what are peoples fav car game? In my opinion it would have to be Grand Prix Legends on the PC, any other thoughts????

Hmm just never got into PC games at all really, PS2 - now thats more my thing -

GT3 is probably my fave.TOCA2 (just released) is very well done too. Plus you can play four player head to head which is carnage... Absolute tosh 'storyline' though... (And why the oval tracks - why? why? why?)

On the PC the only one I ever got into was the original Indy Car.. Prefer Grand tourismo 3these days..Gotham racing is quite fun too but not so varied

TOCA race driver on the PS2 - would have to agree, excellent game but a shite, predictable storyline. I would bet money on the fact that the 'grand finale' is against the bloke who killed your dad!

Indycar on the PC - now that is going back a few years! Was very very good, was the best in its time i seem to remember

GT2 is still the best by a mile...the driving sim's easily as good GT3, even if the graphics aren't as smooth. Besides once the cars on the move, the graphics really make bugger all difference anyway.

The advantage of GT2 is the absolutely massive range of cars to buy, GT3 majored on graphics and lost the edge in the driving and fantasy garage stakes...
...for me anyway.

MSR/PGR is a brilliant concept. I know there are very few cars to chose from but this one more about the fantasy drive. Haven't YOU always wanted to steam through St jamses'park in a 360 Modena?

NOOOOOOOO ... I got both and have a lot of fun with the PS2 but X Box is more of a 'grown ups' toy..DVD playback seems better, graphics are better ,theres better ( 5.1 suround ) sound, can rip MP3s and it sgot Halo which has to be about the best game there is. PS2 does look better though I'll give you that
