He is. Nice bloke, who has really got it sussed. Made his money in oil, now runs his own car company and race team and has built a race track in Spain. He's having a ball!

That race resort place looks like it would be fantastic ! Don't think they'll be offering late bookings for a few hundred quid though !

The Ascari team used to be in kent. I had a sneak peak inside once. the Ascari casr werent there- they were racing at Brun, in the Czech republic.

All he had (sic) was 3 Formula 2 Ferraris- Alesi, Berger and Schumachers first F1 Ferrari. And a couple of benettons -ex Schumacher, now labelled "Ascari" and for sale in Autosport this week.

All up on stilts, being worked on. The mechanic told me that

"Every now and then we get a call from the boss. We load up the transporter with the F1 cars and an Asacri. He hires a circuit for the day, flies in while the cars are unloaded, and he drives them around all day..."

What a life. What a top bloke.

Maybe we should ask him to buy that circuit in the south of France.

me old boy and x -boss both know Kluas quite well , sold his company for a 110million plus stock so he has a few quid .
The Ecosse was designed by lee noble who also desinged the current one .

Came round one day in the ecosse and took me ex boss for a spin , trying to flog him one but me gaffer though his M5 was a better car

Klaus also use to race in the porsche cup as a privateer and took a stripped out Carrera 2 as his run about and back and fore to work
A true piston head

I have to say that this car would make it onto my list of the most beautiful cars ever produced .. if it gets that far. Tasteful in a way the Italians seem to have forgotten was possible.

Good luck to them I say, and well done that man. What a life!

Ted, candidate for a PTaP speaker (depending on time allowed in the country for tax reasons?!?), maybe he should bring his product along too, would probably get a fair amount of interest!
