Wise Investment?

Receivers called in to wind up a carpet firm in Cardiff recently found a ten year old XJ220 behind a bricked up staircase. The directors of the company had bought the £415,000 car it as an investment.

Thinking that bricking up a car is an "investment" is probably connected with the reasons for the receivers coming in in the first place

Shame as it was stolen 5 years earlier according to his Insurance claim

If you had done the same thing with a 250 GTO or a GT40 it could have had the same sad result.

The trick is to hold on long enough for the true value to be realised.

As it was a carpet firm I suppose the Jag will be a runner.
