Funny that you mention that.

I'm currently working on a project where this is one of the design drawings. (I've cropped the drawing to remove identifiable info)

That looks like a vast improvement on the ‘97 idea.
I could see the original concept working as a personal parking solution, but as a commercial enterprise... scratchchin

I am looking for a parking lift at the moment but need quite a narrow one, maybe this might work

Depends how narrow - I have the Intern 208 installed that after 5-6 years of (occasional) use will be redundant very shortly.
That’s 2660mm wide and is fine for standard vehicles - my 993 fits fine.
If you want a bargain- please let me know
