From the news page above:

A Derbyshire manufacturer of off-road racing vehicles is set to close after nearly 40 years. Bowler Motors, founded in Belper in 1985 by Drew Bowler after modifying a Land Rover Series I, was taken over by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) in 2019, becoming part of the company's Special Vehicle Operations Division.

Earlier this week, JLR entered a period of consultation with the 28 Bowler Motors staff members at the headquarters in Queen Street, Belper. A spokesperson for JLR said: "JLR bought Bowler in 2019 for its expertise in low-volume production techniques and extreme all-terrain vehicle durability.
