New Skoda Octavia Price???!!!!! How much????

Just found out that the new Octavia vRS is going to cost about £17500!!!!!! That's like 2 grand MORE than before!!!:eek:

I know it's got 200bhp now etc etc but come on.

The main selling point of the previous model was the keen price/spec/performance combo. Now I think it's pricing itself out.

I thought this would happen at some point as VAG/BMW/Merc are all greedy. The Skoda brand is stronger so rather than still playing the value game, why not increase the prices little by little until it's no longer a bargain?

I guess I'll have to look elsewhere to replace mine.:byebye:

Ford have just announced a list price of £17500 for the new Focus ST as well so it's hard to see why this shoukld appeal to sporty buyers.
