Though for a moment labour had got their act together...

Sea of black, grey and white as has been the case for last couple of decades.

Mrs always seems to spot the yellow cars first though.

I must confess, I have had silver for the last two cars (27 years). Hides the dirt, easily seen. Easy to sell.
But I must say, new car colours, outside of silver and black are dire, and they don’t change that often.

Been complaining about the endless sea of blue or monochrome cars for years. People buy the least offensive colour because they don’t want to affect resale value. Now the manufactures don’t see the point in offering alternative colours.

I’m doing my bit to add a bit of colour to the carpark. Feel free to hate it. But I wasn’t going to spend my money on a boring colour because the next owner might not like it.

The availability or lack there of with regard colour choice has put me off some cars. I believe I may be in the minority though, my wife is bordering on the ridiculous and top priority for new car was does it come in yellow...

At the moment I have a hankering for a really dark metallic green, does anyone do that outside of bespoke not really. I do really like the olivine green Peugeot has, but I'm not really mad on any of their offerings. I've wanted orange for a long time too. Hopefully in the next couple of years manufacturers will get out of the doldrums and offer some exciting colours.

Maybe there should be a significant discount for a base colour so that you can then spend £3k to get it wrapped or something...

To be fair, sometimes there is.

Can’t remember the last time I saw an option colour that wasn’t at least £800, anything decent on an Audi is the best part of £2k.

If it's not a fun colour then I'm generally not interested.

I think Peugeot have stolen them all - they have some fantastic colours for their range at the moment.

But… I paid an awful lot of money for the upgrade. It’s even bigger than the last one

I detest boring car colours, and even more bland interiors, I recently looked at a polestar 2 and that comes in 4 different greys and white and black

I’m sure it’s vastly down to PCP and lease cars being popular, and people not wanting to spend the extra for it, you do see SEATs in interesting colours as they all come with metallic paint included

I was chuffed recently when my company car turned up, I was expecting a 50 shades of grey a4 but they delivered a bright red one, with silver wheels and chrome, it looks great!
