I would like to purchase a toy.
I insure a smaller car using my no claims bonus.
If I purchase a second car do I pay the full amount on the smaller car and use my no claims bonus on the more expensive car or can I get away with getting a discount on both motors.:confused

I recently purchased my toy, I had to transfer my no claims to that and start insurance on my Scenic from scratch.

Some companies (eg Admiral grp) will let you mirror NCB across cars...

Just be honest. There are loads of Companies who will offer to give you some "no-claims" discount. All you need to do is get a quote for your cheaper car whilst giving them all the details of your no-claims history on all the other cars you drive.

I got insurance on my Vectra dirt cheap from Norwich Union because they took into account I drive two other cars and have full (protected) no-claims discount on both of them. They didn't even ask to see proof of NCD (which I had from the previous renewals).
