Ford 'MA'
New concept vehicle - the work of a genius or a muppet?
Discussion
Its a load of Bollocks
Looks like a poor quality Kit Car of which there are already several on the market! The "space between" must refer to the void between the designers ears.
ps. how long will it be before people realise that producing electricity still causes pollution (unless you look at windfarms and nuclear).
pps manufacturing a car in the first place uses more energy than the petrol it uses during its lifetime (or so I've been told).
Outburst over-back to work..

So this is the sort of tat we can expect when they run out of old cars to copy. Hmm, bolt together technology with a small engine to keep the lentilists happy - Citreon 2CV anyone? Oh, that had doors and a roof didn't it?
If you care, really care, about the environment then give us a car that will last thirty years without rusting to nothing rather than ten. Yes there are exceptions to this but ten years/100000mile is still the design life for most cars, and make it light so it uses cock all fuel.

It's got few nice elements, and I like the combination of colours and materials but it really doesn't look very coherent. Conveniantly that fits in with the 'philosophy' of the vehicle, so they can go off on the 'architectural aesthetic' w@nkfest. And with that many holes and gaps it must be designed for about one quick trip to the shops then back for a clean.
Some designers go on and on the thinking behind their designs, but if you can't see it in the finished product then it can't be very significant.
And why do the always make these kerrrrraaazy/schtoopid tyres for concept cars? I know it's to grab more attention but if it don't look right with real tyres then they have already phucked up.
The headlights are cool though.

Hmmmmmmm.
The juxtoposition between the industrial groundings of the motorcar, and the gentle beauty of the aesthetics evoke thoughts of the very Jing and Jang that tipefies the Ma philosophy.
Summerising perfectly man's desire for speed combined with his renaissence yearning for an improved existence.

Just answered my own musing about the designers. Dictionary throws up:
mental age
n. Abbr. MA
A measure of mental development as determined by intelligence tests, generally restricted to children and persons with intellectual impairment and expressed as the age at which that level of development is typically attained.
Hence they could do the Ma 1, Ma 2, Ma 3 etcera - when they get to the Ma 21 it might be half decent!!!

. Graduate students can do far better than this.
