ferrari 288 gto on ebay

Whats the consensus on a genuine 308 gtb with a 288 gto bodykit as advertised on
ebaywww.justinbanks.com/13-Main.html

always been a fan of the gto but this car doesnt quite look right from side on shots and theres huge gaps around the wheel arches ??



never been a fan of ponyiac / mr2 kits

but at least this is a real ferrari

Not helped by the conversion sitting on a GTB, whereas the GTO was based on the GTS. As such, this kit would fool no-one who knows a GTO, and those that don't will just see a 308 with a tacky body kit on it....

Correct -

Its not as bad as some kits but it should have been left in its original 308 state.

Its all wrong wrong wrong.

It'll never be a 288, so don't try to be.

Looks semi ok from the rear but side and front looks like a total kit, all wrong dimensionally and doesn't even look like it was an original Ferrari, even though it is.

More wrong than could ever be right IMO.

Yup. ed a decent Ferrari up proper.

Not quite as bad as those flaps molesting 250 GTEs to make 250 GTO "replicrap".
