Lurvely car...

But if its all Carbonfibre and Kevlar (inc. the chassis!), how come it weighs 1175kgs.. thats more than a TVR..

Looks like more of a curate's egg (groan.....)

My daughter had some slippers in the same shape and colour - she could do 10mph in those!!

lovely car, and the wheels look perfectly placed in all four corners of the beast!

Nice car; I'm not sure of what they've done to Ford's V8 but then that's quite a result isn't it?

There's no secret to the power output, the (already huge V8) engine has a massive supercharger strapped onto it.

Looked nice at last year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, even though the show car was a really appalling weak blue colour.

Personally (and for less money) I'd get a Murcielago instead and strap a supercharger onto that

Not sure if that would work out. The Lambo V12 has apparently been bored to the limit; I doubt it could handle any other modification without being entirely re-engineered...

226mph.....boring..just another lambo-lookalike that can do 200something mph and 0-60 in 3something secs, nothing new or original, probably sell 50 then disappear.

I was in love with this car the first time I saw it - and still want one now! it's just gorgeous - can anyone remember how much they are? is it above the 200k mark or below?

Heavily modified V8 with an audi transaxle (I think)

Not necessarily, it's just more than TVR say a TVR weighs. I'm not aware that anyone has ever checked, and we know they aren't good at power claims. Not that it matters, fast is fast regardless of numbers.

This Koenigsegg thing doesn't really it for me, in the looks department. I'll take the 500bhp 2003 Ford GT40, thanks. Or an original. Or a Diablo. But not this.

Yes people have weighed them, there is a thread somewhere. A Tamora was roughly what was stated if I remember correctly. A Cerb is 1125'ish kg I think.

Nice to see it can actually do the business. Lots of supercar companies claim to be able to equal or beat McLaren's 240mph topspeed but seeing is believing.

What's with that Loris chap anyway? As far as I know he's testdriver at Pagani as well. Nice job!
