I spoke to virgin about this and they were pretty good. Not too expensive either, and they ocasionally have a few in stock (obviously an RB favorite).

Otherwise, it is speak to someone that you know well who is in the trade. I was a bit of a novice, so the big name had many attractions.

Check my profile, and you will see that I never went through with it - so the advice is possibly worth nothing, but I do now have an S2000 on order with a little man in the trade. Saved about £1000 cf the major importers - this was obviously worth it for me, but I can definitely see the POV where you have already got a pretty good discount - a major name behind the import for £20k would possibly be a good move.

When I imported an Imprezza, I used to Dutch Subaru website to get the details of all of the dealers in Holland & faxed them requesting a quote for a RHD car.
List the exact spec you want item by item (remember trim packages vary country to country) & make it clear you want a tax free price for export.
You also need to ask for transit plates & the certificate of conformity (you need this to register the car, it confirms that it's homologated for EU markets).
I also looked into importing an S3 before I got my Griff (so a couple of years ago). I was in contact with an audi dealer in Rotterdam, IIRC. Came out to about 21k OTR in the UK - taking into account VAT,travelling, registration fees etc. I will try & find their details, but they used to advertise in the back of one of the car mags (Car??).
I wouldn't bother with Virgin as their prices are high for an imported car.
Do the work yourself & save a packet. It's not rocket science.

Try a Danish Audi dealer direct. A friend of mine bought a Golf V5 like this and saved about 5K.

I found him dealer details, he rang up, gave the spec, got a price. Paid the deposit, and balance on delivery (to dealer) they even shipped it to a company in the UK close enough to go and collect, cost about 400 quid more.

Worth investigating as you may save a bit.

Edited to add missed last post while trying to get some details. You can ignore this then!

I'll second the sportimport route, 2 friends have imported Audis through them and have both been very happy with the service and cost.

I've used www.broadspeed.com in the past.

Are you trying to source a new model (out later this year) or are you after a current one ?
