Aston AM V8 Vantage on TG

Just watched a rerun on UK Horizons, the one where the Volvo designer and Ian Callum were asked to draw a new design, Ian's one looked very much like the AM V8 but didn't a german bloke design this.....could this have been a discrete preview?

Pete, indeed now you mention it you are right. Obviously Ian Callum had this in mind when he did his sketch, Peter Horbury of course works for PAG of which Aston is a part of and would almost certainly have seen the AMV8 by the time of the program last November, and as for the German guy, well all new Astons are derivative of Callum's DB7 so not much new design thought from him then.
