I'm sure it's a stunning motor but that tea tray on the back will never win any beauty prizes (yes, I know it's purely functional) and I hate that "smiley" in front of the bonnet that makes the car look like Brum. It totally destroys any aggression in it's frontal aspect.

Prefer the look of the standard 997 but in respect to the fact that it is based on being taken to the track then it isnt bad.
You can have a cuppa tea after a good long session without having to bring a shakey camping table, in fact you could probably have your dinner on it as well.

I like the fact that Porsche are going back to their 70s catalogue for colours - to me there are far too many 'safe' residual colours around!

next theyll be going for blood red interior with a hint of vomit yellow, to match the outside colour.
It is striking though, I must admit, bit like the new focus ST. Makes a change to the normal silvers, blacks and reds.

Editied to add: after seeing the pics again, it isnt really like the focus ST but still tries to hit the same with an outrageous colour. Goes well with the dark wheels. The cars aggresive but not beautiful, thus a bit like a pornstar compared to a supermodel. I know that I would still have it though.

Apparently red and orange are standard, black and silver available at extra cost. I'll dig out the authoritative answer shortly though.

From the press release:

"The available finishes are Arctic Silver metallic or black; as an option, the GT3 can also be obtained in orange or green. All vehicle insignia and the wheels themselves are styled in orange or black to contrast with the body paintwork."

Lovely car - shame about the colour. Part of thing I loved about the previous RS was the white with red wheels combo - yummy.
