Think of the situation where there are more and more Gatsos. Everyone with a detector is avoiding these routes and this forms congestion. If you then have routing software, guess which roads you''ll be routed on.

I think this diverting different makes could be really useful. Just think all metros in one place (anyone have a bomb handy?)

It would give hackers some new games to play. They could try to spell rude words in traffic jams across London, or play noughts and crosses with grid locks in the USA.

what a load of cobblers. if you're going from north to south in the uk, you only have 2 real choices. m6 or m1, both of which are at breaking point on friday and sunday nights. either that, or a combination of many a and b roads. fine on a warm summer's evening in a tiv, but in winter i wouldn't fancy it.

Ford can re-route us till they're blue in their oval face, but there is only one solution. New Roads. We need a huge road-building program, plus top-class railways, plus trams in cities. All three would pay off in the long run. Without them Britain is condemned to death.
