Advertising Standards Authority doesn't like fast cars

Agree about the naff slogan, but this seems ridiculous, as speed of disappearance equals acceleration, and good acceleration makes for safer overtaking.
At the same time, has anyone complained about that stupid Clio va va voom, as it encourages people to drive about on clear nights with their front foglights on, dazzling all oncoming drivers??
