Laraki Fulgura
600bhp coupe debuts in Geneva
![]() |
The Geneva show also saw the Laraki Fulgura displayed in its full glory. Sounding more like a tropical disease, the Laraki Fulgura is in fact a super coupe very much in the mould of the Ferrari 360. A supercharged German V8 sits midships generating almost 600bhp. That's coupled to a sequential gearbox allowing the dash to sixty to be completed in just 3.8 seconds. The chassis is constructed from aluminium and the body is made entirely of carbon fibre, ensuring exceptional rigidity and light weight. Unusually, suspension is of the inboard variety as used on single seaters. Also at the show was the silver Borac, another Ferrari clone, this time seeking inspiration (or is it the whole design) from the 456 Coupe. www.laraki-automobiles.com |

Discussion
I thought it was a Ferrari until I read the article.
It sort of looks like my Scalextric Diablo did after I left it on a radiator over night...
...not quite right
So who excactly is actually going to buy this car?
I'd go for a 360 with the engine to match the, er... looks.
Seems like Germany is the new America when it comes to supplying brutish bent eights to the worlds low production independants though, which can't be bad.
