Golf G60 Rallye

Hi just signed up for PistonHeads what a great looking site,heard alot about it so thought i would sign up.
I currently drive a Golf G60 Rallye with a new VR6 engine in it,and my next project is X2 turbos!!
Hopefully 'my baby' will be ready for the summer..Watch this space..

welcome ben, cool car. I used to have a corrado G60 and apart from mine being a particularly cr@p one I loved it.

If you turbocharge the VR6 (conversion) in your Rallye, you will be in a very elite group indeed.

From what I understand there are only three other such cars in the UK, and having seen one of them at a trackday I can tell you it was one of the most bezerk performing cars I've ever seen.

Think you should see 350bhp as a minumim, and 12sec quarter miles should be a doddle

I had a Mk.3 Golf VR6 and that was bl00dy quick. I thought about supercharging it, but 2x turbos would be mental! Go on, do it, do it, do it!!

Thanks alot people,i will be attending VW ACTION SUMMER Beach Party in Hertfordshire on the 21st and 22nd June,fingers crossed it will be ready then, if not definitely Bug Jam in July!!
