Surely that's because 17-25 year olds are less likely to have a company car?

Also what are the stats per mile travelled ? Most 31-40 year old company car drivers probably have a much higher annual mileage than your average school run mum and mile for mile would have less accidents IMHO.

I'd expect people who drive 110 tailgating in the outside lane to have more accidents.

Surely, accident rate per, say, 10,000 miles travelled would be more meaningful.

However, I would guess that someone driving a company car, i.e. someone else's, would be a bigger risk. I just hope I'm not subsidising them with the insurance premium on my group 20 car.
