Fire at Lotus Factory

'Firefighter were called yesterday to the Lotus Cars site at Potash Lane, Hethel, to deal with a fire in a test cell.
The alarm was raised at 7.46am and two crews from Wymondham and one from Hethersett were mobilised. The blaze was brought under control at 8.07am.
Lotus spokesman Alastair Florance said the fire broke out in a research engine that wsa being tested efore going into production. It was confined to the test cell, which is 8ft square, and had not caused an significant damage.'
