"Nitro"? FFS, if the insurers don't even know what it's called no wonder they've got no bloody clue what it's all about. No N2O on my car but I know enough about it to see it's less "scary" than a turbo upgrade etc etc.

i dont think i would try to run nitroglicerine in my engine,i know a big bang is worth having but jesus......

Top fuel dragsters run Nitromethane (mixed with about 10% - 20% methanol IIRC) - not that much more stable than nitroglycerine
