Is Drive the Deal good, the prices seem really good. How do they work and can you share any experiances?
Cheers

I understand they are very good if you are fortunate enough to be a cash buyer with no p/x

Dunno about drive the deal, but I do know about similar. Motorpoint sell some cut price goodies, my mate and I went along because he was looking at the new Impreza WRX (not STI) and they're selling them for 16K, a saving of over 5K.
When we asked where they came from the sales guy said they were imports from Malta. If it was me buying I would have given it serious thought but my mate wasn't having it, although they were all warranted he didn't fancy the possible downside when it came to selling on.

he clearly isnt the full biscuit in that case, if concerned about resale the most important thing is to buy a new one cheaply. If he paid £5k less he can sell for £5k less, which becomes an even bigger difference with new car depreciation etc

I believe DriveTheDeal forward your order to a conventional main dealer, so you know you are getting a genuine UK car.

yes

We bought our S2000 through them. They simply take a deposit from you (£500 for us I think) and forward it with your details to their nominated dealer - minus a chunk of money for them for the introduction.

You then deal only with the dealer from then on and pay the remainder as you would normally on completion. There are no hidden tricks, except that your car my well come from the other end of the country with a few hundred miles on the clock unless you go to collect it.

We introduced my in-laws to them as well, and were rewarded with a bottle of champers.

Tried a different company for the Mazda 5, and would go back to Drive-the-Deal instead thumbup

Edited to add - can we introduce you too?
