Classic Car Club
Doors open this weekend as Classic Car Club showcase their new London premises
Discussion
just been reading the website of this classic car club thing, as mentioned in the news area here
why would i want to trust an organisation whose website is so riddled with inaccurate information?
Ferrari Mondial made in 1995? Er no.
Daimler 4.2 Coupe with a V8 engine and weights 1100kg??
Jaguar XJS with a V8 engine?
Porsche 928 S4 with 232bhp?
etc etc etc
OK, maybe I am being picky. But wouldnt you expect a club "run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts" to at least have the basic facts right about the cars they have???

My point exactlyYou're being too picky. Go along and meet a few of them - really nice and friendly bunch.
I was a member a couple of years ago and it was fantastic. During that year I drove a '73 911 RS, Lotus ELise, Caterham 7, Porsche 928, Porsche 996, Lamborghini Jalpa and picked a Ferrari 348 up on my birthday and did over 1,000 miles in it in 5 days.
Fabulous fun for enthusiasts...

I've only just joined and am waiting for the paperwork to come through.
The new London office is very close to my old London office but I've left that job now which means it's not as simple as it might have been.
They do indeed seem like very good people.
The Jalpa isn't there anymore though which is a shame.
I'm good.
