Are BMW going to build an X7?

There are rumours all over the internet but does anyone have any concrete evidence that BMW will buid an X7?

But I have an X7 number plate on retention that I won't sell cheap if some mug with an X7 is prepared to pay good money to confirm to the world that he's an ass*ole and wants to broadcast his initials!

I'll need to build a new garage to keep it alongside my beloved Hummer and the wife's Cayenne. The kids' Disco's live outside. Please sell me your X7 reg, so long as the price isn't over £20K.....

But hold on - there must be a Bentley version of the Q7 to consider soon, and surly Lambo can't be far behind as they've done it before - So many 4x4 choices, how wonderful.

theres supposed to be an x6 which is a sportier version of the x5. Theres supposed to be a lambo suv using a v10 and bently version. Masseratti did a kubang i concept so there all jumping aboard.

I'm not too sure - because the X5 now can seat seven people - the rumour was the X7 would take on this role. The X6 is coming though.

Doubtless they will, just look at how successful the X3 and the X5 are - and their ownership profile

There obviously very protective over it, so Im guessing it is quite different to the X5, the question is I wonder just how different.

X7 was going to be a long-wheelbase, 7 seat X5, but they went with a 7 seat X5 and kept the length the same. The name X7 was a hang-over from when the new m Series coupe was going to be badged as the 4 series.
