'Stealth' Car
Cars and dolly birds rolled out in Army recruitment drive
![]() |
You won't see the Army's latest vehicle charging through the streets of Bahgdad. The Territorial Army's 'Stealth Car' is their latest means of marketing.
The fully camouflaged 450bhp Chevrolet ASCAR is the result of the TA's title sponssorship of Deuce Racing-RML for this years 2003 European ASCAR series. The TA driver is Ben Collins, a Formula 1 test driver and Le Mans champion.
Ben was joined for the photo shoot by models Lady Isabella Hervey and Izaabel Gouton.
Captain Danny Dugan, TA Royal Logistic Corps explained, "One of our main recruitment audiences is young men and women aged 17 to 24 years old. We believe the ASCAR sponsorship will help us not only reach this particular target group but also excite and engage them with the TA."

I know only one nation on earth that is pretending to be a free modern country while still making their young people risk their lives for bullshit like that or slogans like "join the navy and see the world"...
I think you'll find most of them do, except the ones that force their young people into it via national service (eg most of Europe).
