Jaguar's new Supercar
Discussion
I found these of the new car Jag are thinking about, hopefully to get them back in the supercar game.
I don't know about you but to me this certainly isn't a Jaguar (especially that interior) but is a cool car all the same. I have a feeling that this car isn't going to be the Enzo-beater they are hoping for.
They really should have invested more into the F-Type concept instead.

Don't panic everyone....this 'aint a "real" Jaguar. It is just a concept from Fuore, so the simialarity between this and the Subaru B111S (that they also produced) aren't too suprising.
Not too sure what the real feeling is at Jaguar (other than "Why the heck did we say they could use the Jag badge"). I understand Ian Callum (the design God at Jaguar) has preferred not to comment. So I'll do it for him....YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK!
This has about as much Jaguar DNA as my left buttock.
If you want to see Jaguars future, buy this weeks Autocar magazine as it has some artists impressions of the new XK8. It's a mix of the current XK8 and the gorgeous R-Coupe concept. Much more to my liking

PetrolTed said: New Jag? Don't think so. It's from the same studio that did the Subaru concept isn't it?
Check out Autocar today for a possible new Jag.
Autocar is where it's from, its the cover story
Edit: Sorry, meant AutoExpress. What's in Autocar?

I think Ted's referring to a different Auto Express - I saw a picture of an absolutely stunning XK8/R replacement that looked like a cross between the XK180 and the R-Type concept whilst looking for Kit-Car in WH Smiths today - I sure as hell hope they go with that one. (anyone else seen it?)
Guess that, fortunately, this

Jaguar did not commission the project, but gave Barcelona-based Fuore Design its blessing to use its famous Cat badges. Himmel is hoping that the Coventry marque will take it up if the public response is good. And he says the company needs a premier sports car such as the XF10 to capitalise on its Formula One profile. ...unqte

Fourwheeldrift - nope, that's not what Autocar were referring to. Their scoop is a 2+2 coupe, based on a shortened XJ8 chassis (the new one, that is). There's even a photo of a shortened XJ8 mule (2 door) testing on UK roads.
The artist's impression shows it looking like an R-Coupe with an XK8 grill and twin headlights.
