London's 'Ban on Bangers'

Classic cars to be barred from entering the capital?

Will the iconic london bus therefore be banned....(cynical mode on) ore will it have an exemption.

It would be interesting to know what proportion of cars in Central London traffic are actually pre-1992 (which I reckon to be before K-reg). By observation, I would guess it as below 5%, most of which are dodgy minicabs, and some 'once a month' drivers.
