[quote]It was rumored yesterday, and it's real today. Come September 13, Japanese enthusiasts will be able to order up the hottest Civic Type R yet. The already-impressive R gets the full once-over from Mugen, and the result is the Honda Civic Mugen RR.
.....
Availability is limited to 300 cars, all in the Milan Red finish shown, and the pricing in Japan has been set at ¥4,777,500 ($38,750 USD).

£19,500 plus the Treasury's cut - so that'd make it £24-25K landed.

or you could just get a 'bog-standard' JDM CTR with only 225PS for £23k, with all the tax & paperwork taken care of ..

But why?
Why make do with a bog standard JDM CTR for £1-2K less, when you can have one of 300 RR's?

That said, in a local Honda dealer's today, and was talking to one of the service chaps - they're of the understanding the UK/Europe will see it early next year.
Whether that's true or not remains to be seen, but since the rumours were true enough on an RR, then maybe Honda are aware there's a demanding market here too that wants the same toy.
As I posted eslewhere, with Mugen coming later this year, as already known, then can you think of a better way to mark the occasion than with the Mugenised RR?

I think i would take that Honda Civic Type RR over our, Civic Type R. It has a bit more individuality about it, and awesome looks.

Sans hatch. I would be surprised if the Mugen RR came over, because I am not sure we get the saloon do we? The IMA thing aside.
