I want to say hello to all attendants of BBWF 2007 in Ettington Chase, who I had the pleasure to get to know on the Sunday´s cruise. It was my first chance to proudly introduce my 99 Chimaera 450 (starmist blue/magnolia) to other TVR enthusiasts. Naturally there were about 20 wedges a 500 Griff and an S-Series.

Thanks to Gandalf´s wife Jane who was kind enough to change some Euros into Pounds, which helped me to buy some fuel before I could get more cash to continue the travel back to Austria, where my car enjoyed already a lot of positive attention. Thank you to my table mates in the national trust inn who encouraged me to join PH with the logical name Vienna TVR.

You should know that I am very interested to support TVR or other Bristish sports car activities in my neighbourhood, because here a TVR is very exotic due to it´s little presence. I had already the chance to spread TVR interest on a few social rally days and will do so on the 24 Hours of Vienna on Sep 1 and 2 being so far the only TVR attending.

Thanks to Rob Ingleby for helping me find this car and to Simon Clowes Ride Drive Trainer from Hemel Hempsted, who joined me for some fast laps on Bruntingthorpe airfield and later to visit Silverstone Classics.

I plan to let my wonderful car breath English air by summer next year and to meet more TVR driver´s, hopefully also the ones I got to know.

Are there any photo´s on the web of BBWF 2007?

Sorry for not keeping all the names of the nice people I talked to (Tom, Paul, ...).

Might remind you about that.

I am playing with the thought of replacing the MG with a TVR for years now. But there is always something in the way. Till recently, the MG was standing around virtually unused for over a year frown
Couldn't bare that anymore and brought it over to Ireland this year.

Michael,
It was nice to have you join us at Wedgefest and I hope you had an enjoyable trip back to Austria in your 'S'. Perhaps your enthusiasm for TVR will spread and more TVRs will make their way to Austria as well.
