Just wondering if anyone had heard anything more about the Jag / Landrover sale. Last i had heard an Indian Company were interested but nothing since. Don't suppose anyone has picked up any more details..

It is rumoured to be TATA. The good news is they were one of the bidders who wanted to keep both brands together as one operation.

As long as the next X Type isn't a Cityrover, it could be very promising.

the head honcho of ford europe was on news 24 this morning talking about this, apparently they are still considering who at this stage is best for the 2 brands (and there coffers)

Well, thats not entirely true, take the Ford Gt40 for example. A legend in its own right.
