No more prawn sandwiches in the motorhome with that fine then.

Just looked at the F1 constructors, as I was not sure of the Ferrari - BMW situation.
Ferrari 143
BMW 86
So there you go, Ferrari have definately won this year.
On another point, do you think Alonso is laughing at all this? He may be feeling quite smug in a funny kind of way....

its taken me several years to form this conclusion but i feel they ought to re name the fia ferrari racing dot com , for years now it seems anything that can be swung ferrari's way can and is (vigorously) if a constructor finds a new technology and it shafts ferrari's they squeal and pout in typical italian fashion with the end result said constructor gets his points taken off him with the spec back written..........then oddly enough FERRARI does the self same thing and everyone cries oh bella bella scuderia f.f.s! it makes me wonder just HOW much money a certain mr moseley AND a certain mr ernie becclestone have tied up in ferrari ! just research your history its not as if this is the first time something along these lines has happened its ALWAYS ferrari that seems to come out quids in..and everyone else can go to f*ck, by the very nature of the sport with the gap between the the top teams and even the bottom teams measured in tenths of a second its surely reasonable to assume they will use the same technology albeit in slightly differing forms..theres only so many ways you can boil and egg...all this just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth towards formula one
I have no idea how big a hole in the budget that fine makes.
But it seems to me that if you want to fix an outcome the best way is to make sure the guy who is winning can't afford to be competitive.
You can't just loose that much without it making a difference somewhere. That affects this years results, which effects sponsorship, effecting next years income, effecting next years results and so on.
It stinks
