When my Mother briefly used One, it was a thought she could (and probably did) mow someone down.

but what can you do, pedestrians have eyes as well as anyone else,
so they have to accept this bullying yet blameless aspect of pavement life

rich36 - take the time to RTFM

the phrase she had been hit from behind was easy to read, people's eyes are at the front and not the back, the old fart on the scooter should have stopped and not driven into someone and then driven off

Even if they catch this fella, and I hope they do, what will they do to him. He is probably a similar age and without his scooter would be unable to get out and about to do his shopping etc., Hopefully, if financially able he should be fined and made to pay compensation to the lady for the pain and distress caused. Why did no else stop him, he did not exactly speed off.
