Revised suspension S2000

Once again Honda keep an out of date model going and going and going and going and... you get the picture.

So all they've done for this "2008 model" is tweaked the suspension some more, genius, what about updating the dash, or better yet, replacing it with a more modern competitor to the Boxster or Z4.

They still have that revy "bee in a jar" engine that's great for open roads and race tracks, but hiorrible to live with in real life where most of us live (I had a 2004 model for over a year, so know this from experience).

I cant see many being sold, the car is past end of life and they cant keep on tweaking the suspension once a year and calling it the new model, they have to be joking.

I can't see what your problem is with the s2k. Sure it may be an old design, but it's all the better for it. It has that fantastic engine which loves to be revved (as the engine in a SPORTS car should be), no electronics to isolate you from the road ( as in the z4 et al) and is also a damn sight better looking imo than any of the other cars in the class. It's also more reliable than any other car on the road (see jd power), is cheaper to run, holds it's value well and is rarer than most.

Finally, no one is claiming the suspension changes make this a new model, but merely constitute the addition to the s2k range of an extra version which was previously jdm only.

I took one for a drive and was very impressed. You have to put some effort into driving it properly and it's not laden down with electronics, driver aids and soundproofing. Wouldn't pay 28k for a new one admittedly, but will certainly consider a used one when it comes to change my current car
